Personal data such as contact details, birth date, medical and health information, and training history may be requested to ensure safe and suitable training options are provided for you. Consistent Running acknowledges and respects your right to this information being treated with confidentiality.


Methods of Collection  

Methods of collection of personal information may include, but not be limited to, email, telephone, written forms or through the website or training platform. Furthermore, with your consent, video images  or photographs may be taken during training to assist with running or exercise technique.  

 


Use of Information

All personal information gathered is done so with the sole purpose of improving the quality and safety of your training experience or to enable effective communication between client and coach.


Sharing of Information

All personal, medical or training information held by Consistent Running will remain confidential.  No such data pertaining to you will be disclosed to a third party, without your written consent, except where required by state or federal legislation.  

Written consent will be sought in the case of sharing your information with a relevant Allied Health Professional, when it is mutually agreed between you and the coach that the referral is the most appropriate action.

 

Quality of Information 

For safety reasons, it is important that your information is accurate, current, complete and relevant. Consistent Running will take responsible steps to maintain the accuracy of your records by updating information regularly. This may involve questionnaires or information update requests. Furthermore, adequate records of training, including training plans and logs, will be maintained for the purpose of analysing and understanding training outcomes i.e. tracking elements that result in performance improvement.


Access to Personal Information 

In accordance with The Privacy Act (1988) you have the right to request access to, or correction of any of your personal data held by Consistent Running.
