Safety

  • Physical training may involve risk of injury from various causes. Clients participate in all forms of training at their own risk.
  • It is the recommendation of Consistent Running that clients new to exercise, or who have had a significant break, should seek the advice of a medical professional prior to undertaking vigorous exercise.
  •  Clients must inform Consistent Running of any pre-existing medical conditions or injuries that may impact on safe training, and notify us via email or in the message section of the training platform of any changes in circumstances. This includes changes to existing injuries, new injuries, and changes in health status.
  • Clients must inform the coach if any exercise or running related activity causes pain and cease the activity immediately.
  • The coach is a qualified and registered Podiatrist and an accredited Level 2 Advanced Running Coach.  At times, the needs of the client may fall outside the scope of practice of the coach, in which case, the client will be referred to the appropriate health professional for advice.

Group Sessions

  • On occasions, group running sessions may be provided
  • Clients are asked to arrive to sessions five minutes prior to the start time so that we can begin on time.
  • Clients must inform the coach of any new injuries or changes in their health.
  • Consistent Running is not responsible for client belongings during training sessions.
  • Running Group sessions will be advertised on the Consistent Running Facebook page or through the training platform. Details of time and venue will be included.
  • The coach will endeavour to deliver all sessions as advertised, however, occasionally sessions may need to be changed or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Clients will be notified of any cancellations via the Facebook page, email or text message.

One-to-One Training

  • On occasions, One-to-One  running sessions may be provided
  • One-to-one sessions will be based on the individual goals of the client.
  • One-to-one sessions can take place at a mutually agreed location.
  • Clients are asked to arrive on time to gain the most of the session.  In fairness to other clients, any pre-booked session will end at the time stipulated in the booking.
  • Clients must inform the coach of any injuries or medical conditions that may impact on the session.
  • Clients must notify the coach of the need to cancel a session at least 2 hours prior to the commencement time.  Clients who fail to do so may be charged (partial or full) for the session.
  • If the coach needs to change the session time, all attempts will be made to find a new mutually agreed upon time.
  • Consistent Running is not responsible for client belongings during training sessions.

Online Training Programs

  • Training programs will be based on the client's individual running goals.
  • The client's personal lifestyle will be considered when training programs are designed.
  • Training programs will be delivered via the Today’s Plan training platform.
  • Training programs are to be used as a guide only.  Clients are expected to use sound judgement when following the program (e.g. cease training if experiencing any pain, inform the coach and seek medical advice where needed; do not complete a scheduled session if ill).
  • Consistent Running is not responsible for any injuries that occur when the client is independently completing a training session provided by the coach.
  • Clients are expected to follow guidelines for safe training (i.e. the inclusion of a warm-up and cool-down in each training session; the gradual increase of distance, and/or intensity; tapering before an event; scheduling in rest days; hydrating during training; wearing well-fitting quality runners and appropriate clothing; avoiding or modifying training in extreme weather; choosing a safe time and location for training).
  • Training programs are individualised and must not be shared amongst groups of people, unless specifically agreed upon.
  • Individualised running programs are non-transferrable and non-refundable.
  • All information provided to clients is done so in good faith, and from sources that I consider to be reputable, accurate and up to date.  If you have concerns about the accuracy of any information provided, please contact me. .

  • Cash payments will be accepted for casual attendance to group sessions or one-off one-to-one sessions.
  • Online Training program fees will be calculated and paid for on a monthly basis (I am happy to arrange payment to be in weekly/fortnighlty or other time frames) in the case of ongoing programs, OR, in full prior to the receipt of a fixed term program (i.e. in the case of a one-off program that is based on a set time frame, such as a 12 week program).

Cancellations and Refunds

  • In the case of injury or illness that prevents you from training for an extended period of time, training programs may be put on hold.
  • Online training plans can be cancelled at the request of the client. Please email admin@consistentrunning.com.au. Remaining time left on the current months training block can be either transferred to a later date or used up until the next billing period.
  • The coach will endeavour to deliver all Running Group sessions as advertised, however, occasionally sessions may need to be changed or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • If the coach needs to cancel a small group run coaching session, attempts will be made to find a suitable time for a replacement session.
  • If the coach needs to change a one-to-one run coaching or PT session, all attempts will be made to find a new mutually agreed upon time.
  • Clients will be notified of any changes or cancellations to sessions via the Facebook page, email or text message.
  • Clients who need to cancel a pre-booked group running session OR one-to-one run coaching, must do so at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled session.  Clients who fail to do so may be charged for the session.
